Two weeks ago Matthew broke his leg going down a slide. His leg broke and so did our hearts (especially his dad's-- Clint unintentionally played a role in the injury.) It has been an emotional two weeks. Fortunately, Matthew is good natured, so we have mostly had the "happy cripple". It is the first broken bone in our family. Clint glumly mentioned that he has gone 30 years without breaking a bone in his own body but not much over a year before he broke his son's bone...ouch... We all feel bad, but we know that Matthew will be fine. He has already figured out how to walk on the cast that was supposed to be "unwalkable".
