Updated: Nothing new to see here. Keep it moving!

I've gotten a lot of credible threats from neighbors, churchgoers, family members, friends, acquaintances, other people I like, people who scare me just a little, and my Mom. What do they want? They want "new material" and they've been wanting it for about the last 2 months.
Attribute my postlessness to my general busy-ness--but mostly to a new level of blog apathy stemming from the unf

ortunate theft of my "list of things that would have made totally awesome weblog entries.” I kind of lost steam once that was gone.

But---as soon as I get back from my vacation, you're not going to be able to keep up with me. I plan on being totally rejuvenated in mind, body, and blog. I’ve already got an appointment for a much-kneaded massage. The pun is that the appointment is at some place in Park City with the word “kneaded” in it. Bad business name no matter what line of work you’re in.

But here’s something exciting: most of my blogging energy has gone into "my" (not my) "new" (not new) blog. Which is actually my sister's blog that older sister ("Ol' Feather Nest", as I call her) and I have hijacked. I don’t actually call my sweet sister “Ol’ Feather Nest.” That’s a lie. I don’t know why I said that--maybe for the tie-in to our new blog’s name. Hijacking someone else's blog is about the most fun I've had blogging since my last post back in '82. If you want to mess around with Emily’s blog, let me know and I'll hook you up as an "authorized" "author." Give it a looky.

Update: We gave Emily her blog back. Here are some of the highjacked elements that she felt compelled to remove...

I think you botched the link to "older sister's" blog. Or else maybe your older sister is a celebrity obsessed potty mouth. Which one is it?

Apparently the internets think that "vitabella" and "bellavita" are different. I guess they're not so smart after all. When they learn Italian they'll realize the error of their ways. Thanks for pointing this out, Carl.

I hope you were not offended! I thought long and hard about wether or not I should take down Whitney Houston poll. I guess I am a vain blogger and like it cute and clean. I received a few comments that led me to believe people liked my blog better when you were in charge. They thought you were funny or something. Maybe I will hire you to write for my posts...Am I going on and on? Love, Emily
